Meet Our Team

Jeff Hastings, PGA
General Manager
Jeff is passionate about fostering the welcoming culture that makes Towhee Club special. He believes that when staff, guests, and the course itself work in harmony, it creates an unforgettable experience for everyone who visits.
With a strong service-driven leadership style, Jeff empowers his team to anticipate guest needs and resolve issues on the spot — ensuring each visit feels seamless from arrival to the final putt. His favorite hole is the challenging 18th, where the approach offers a beautiful view of the clubhouse.
Jeff moved to the Nashville area four years ago with his wife and two children and loves coaching his kids’ soccer teams in his spare time.
Fun fact: As an eight-year-old golfer, he once let Michael Jordan, Fred Couples, and Wayne Gretzky play through — a moment he’ll never forget.

Jessica Cothern
Executive Chef
Chef Jessica is passionate about the people she serves and the team she works alongside. She strives to create quality meals that help celebrate everything from everyday lunches to life’s biggest moments.
When she’s not in the kitchen, Jessica enjoys painting, exploring new culinary ideas, listening to music of all genres, and spending time with her husband and dog — usually with a great cup of coffee nearby.
Fun fact: Before becoming a chef, she worked in welding and helped construct the original Schermerhorn Symphony Center.

Zack Bunch
Sous Chef
Zack thrives in the fast-paced, team-driven environment of the kitchen at Towhee Club and Birdsong Social. He values the strong sense of camaraderie among the culinary team, where everyone supports one another and takes pride in delivering exceptional food together.
As Sous Chef, Zack focuses on consistency and presentation. He believes that when every plate looks beautiful and tastes just as great every single time, guests can trust their experience — and that trust is what keeps them coming back.
Outside of the kitchen, Zack enjoys spending time with family, hiking, and heading to the river whenever he can.
Fun fact: Zack can cook a full meal without measuring a single ingredient.
